Dec. 6, 2000 marks the eleventh anniversary of the massacre of 14 women at Montreal's École Polytechnique. The White Ribbon Campaign provides an opportunity for all Canadians, especially men, to make a personal, public declaration of support for ending men's violence against women by wearing a white ribbon during the annual awareness campaign. This year, White Ribbon week begins on Nov. 25 and runs until Dec. 6. White ribbons will be available for delegates attending CAUT Council Nov. 24-26, 2000.
