CAUT has invited the leaders of all five major political parties to participate in an all-party roundtable discussion on post-secondary issues on Nov. 24. The political roundtable will be part of CAUT's annual fall Council meeting at which representatives of university and college faculty associations from across the country will be present. Each participant will be given an opportunity to present their party's platform on major post-secondary education issues such as federal funding of universities and colleges, levels of student debt, research support, commercialization, and the faculty shortage. A question and answer session will follow the presentations.
