On Jan. 31, the faculty association at Brock University concluded nine months of negotiations with the university administration. The agreement, effective July 1, 2000 to June 30, 2003 was ratified by association members on Feb. 14. Major changes include an average salary increase of 5.4 per cent (end rate) in year one; salary increases for years two and three to be determined though a mediation/arbitration process; improved copyright protection; improvements in retired members' benefits; and, PDR increases in each of the three years.
