The University of Lethbridge Faculty Association and the board of governors signed a memorandum of agreement in June for salary and benefits from July 1, 2001 to June 30, 2002. The university's faculty members, professional librarians and academic assistants received a 4.5 per cent salary increase and professional supplement increases that now provide $1,500 for each librarian and faculty member and $1,115 for academic assistants. The one-year agreement also provides for improvements and coverage increases in the health care and dental plan.
