The cartoons you published in the November 2001 Bulletin reach new levels of offensiveness and ignorance.
In one cartoon, you liken the terrorist assault on the World Trade Center that caused the incineration of more than 3,600 innocent people with the actions of our democratically elected government in proposing an anti-terrorist bill to the Canadian parliament. This is a grotesque example of moral obtuseness.
In the second cartoon, you characterize the World Trade Organization as a dictatorship on par with Hitler's Nazi Germany and Stalin's Soviet Union, thus trivializing the brutal murders of millions of innocent people.
Just what were you thinking when you decided to print those cartoons?
