Michael Conlon joined the staff of CAUT in May as a professional officer in its policy and research division. He joins CAUT from the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities where he was a senior policy advisor to the minister. Prior to that, Conlon served as national director of research for the Canadian Federation of Students and as national chairperson of CFS. He holds a MA in English from Carleton University and a PhD from the University of Victoria.
