Librarians at McMaster University have formed an association and decided to unionize. The McMaster University AcadÂemic Librarians Association filed an application for certification with the Ontario Labour Relations Board on Feb. 10. The board supervised a secret ballot election the following week where a majority of votes were cast in favour of unionization. MUALA represents a 30-member group.
